Gender Stereotype

"This was the first drawing I made, and also my first time with actual digital art so please be kind with this one... There's a big cat in the center, holding a tattoo machine.. who is tattooing the mouses' back with the male or female symbol. After that, they're forced to go either on the blue or the pink side, and not all of them are happy about that. Basically I tried to talk about the common belief that you can only be a man or a woman, basing off what biological gender u were born with. If u break these schemes, people who are tied to stereotypes, are most likely to consider you a social reject- In reality, our body is ours; it's our right to find out which one of the infinite possibilities we want to be... we are all different, we should be able to choose without fear how to make our appearance match our soul."

Life-eating Machine
"Hey! Here I learnt how to use the symmetry tools. Took less hours indeed! Let's get to the meaning now. I imagined a restaurant for machines.. it's a robot monkey in the center, that can get charged in this restaurant and consume meat from a living being. The colour of the meat sticks out because it's the only thing coming from a real life. I don't think technology is generally bad, but I'm sure we're exaggerating a bit with filling our world with these half-alive things.. also thinking about how much time we spend on devices.. I mean don't u get a bit of dissociation too? I'm sure there's a right equilibrium for everything. On the front the restaurant sign is a recall to the logo. I used monkey because it's what human beings were before.. this is like.. the step before robots take over? Haha - sorry."

Social Disguise
"Gotta try to explain this one too! Remember to be honest but not too harsh on judging! This one is a Cerberus dog: the one with one body and three heads yes... well I thought, we all put some mask on basing on the social circumstances right ..? And that's that, this Cerberus shows on top left its approach at a job interview, or generally speaking, working environment (it looks innocent and very diligent) On top right, it's at a bar, or pub, on a date or generally a fun situation (it wants to look as cool as possible, in a place where it is allowed to feel free) The bottom part, it's at home. Where no one (or just family members I guess) sees it. There's no particular mask, it is minding his business, smoking a cigarette, not caring at all. This "personality change" is normal. I think what matters the most is to not lose our chance to be ourselves while putting on these masks."

Beauty Standard
"I tried to represent beauty standards. These are butterflies (i know, theyre not easy to spot and dont look like exact butterflies. i tried my best..). The buttefly on top, the one with the circles pattern on her wings, is showing off on some sort of screen the same circles. She's the easiest to spot and there's a reason. Looking down there are three other butterflies, whose wings are pointy tho... and they have a different texture. They get reactions to this situation, all pretty obsessive and emotionally heavy, and they're more chained and confused into the whole trip (specially compared to the buttefly on top.. who thinks to be less of a victim in this, but is still part of it.) The whole artwork was supposed to give an enchanting and catchy vibe, including the bottom right part, with a recall of the logo in the same style as the rest."

Read Between The Lines
"As the title itself says, you will be able to read “Alive Again” in the colored winding pattern. It also matches the whole concept! You can indeed “read between the lines” in all of the drawings to understand the social situations represented."
